At BKF Art Studio
At BKF Art Studio, we believe in nurturing creativity and self-expression through the world of fine arts.
Founded by Bernita Kukkuk Faurie, a seasoned artist with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Pretoria, our studio has been a vibrant hub for aspiring and established artists since 2008.
Bernita's passion lies in the fusion of traditional oil painting with detailed black ballpoint pen drawings, creating unique and expressive artworks.
Bernita also regularly participates in renowned exhibitions like Vuleka 2023 (Finalist) and Portrait Award 2021 (Top 200), reflecting her dedication to artistic excellence.
Bernita’s artistic journey began at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) in Johannesburg and transitioned into teaching art at esteemed institutions such as Durbanville High School, Boston House College, and DF Malan High School.
With over a decade of experience, BKF Art Studio now offers engaging art classes tailored to groups and private clients in a welcoming, inspiring environment.
